CHYCO SIMÉON

“Ozanam” is an album in tribute to the city of Ozanam Batelière in Martinique.

“Ozanam” is a city in Martinique, one of the first, which represents the urban side (conte) that, for a time, detonated the residential landscape around it.

Many artists from the island lived their childhood in this place, of which I am one of them.

I played a lot of instruments in this album and I wanted to pay tribute and share some of the titles with my accomplice, since our adolescence, the drummer José Zébina. Fred Delbecq on the trumpet since the beginning of my solo adventure… Artists such as saxophonist Jowee Omicil, bassist Michel Alibo… have joined me for this project.
